Things to do now that it’s November

The clocks may have gone back and November has arrived but that
shouldn’t stop people from having some fun. Here are four fun things
that may be of interest.

Movember

Now in it’s 16th year,
the annual festival of the moustache takes place this month. It’s a fun
way to add some fur to your face and raise funds for men’s health
charities.

November 5th

We fully expect a different type
of Bonfire Night on the 5th due to Covid 19 restrictions. If you are
planning a small family event have a safe night, and make sure to check
out the The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA)
website
for safety tips.

Family Movie Nights

It’s a great time of year to get cosy on the sofa and watch a movie with your family.

Why not make it even more fun by:

1) Agreeing to a theme for the night, sci-fi, comedy, horror or even romance!!

2) Stock up on cinema-style snacks such as popcorn, tortilla chips, sweets etc.

3)
Be creative – Kids will love making their own cinema tickets that need
to be shown to ensure a seat in time for the big movie.

Christmas Lists

It’s
been a year to forget in many ways so any excuse to take our minds off
things must be welcomed, so let’s look to start by making your Christmas
lists. Don’t forget to add items that will be available from our local
independent shops in the area and support our community.

Despite
everything there are still things to do throughout the month and that
includes people who are still looking to move and make a fresh start in
2021, if we can help just get in touch.

Whatever you do, have fun, and stay safe.
